Prominent Legal Practitioner Seeks Support, Condolences and presence of the Unity Bar Members, his legal professional colleagues, friends and well-wishers.

The legal fraternity in Nigeria mourns the Father of their prominent professional colleague, Chidi Udekwe Esq, former Provost of the Nigerian Bar Association Abuja (Unity Bar), who recently lost his beloved father on the 4th of September, 2023. As the grieving son prepares to bid his final farewell, he extends a heartfelt invitation to members of the Unity Bar, professional colleagues, friends and well-wishers  to join him in honoring his late father's memory during the burial ceremony.

Chidi Udekwe, a respected legal practitioner, has been an integral part of the Nigerian Bar Association for many years. He has served as Chairman of the Young Lawyers Forum and has actively contributed to the growth and development of the Unity Bar. Now, in this time of personal loss, he seeks the support and condolences of his fellow members.

The burial arrangements for Chidi Udekwe's father burial, include a Service of Songs, which was held in Enugu on Saturday, the 16th of December, 2023. This solemn gathering allowed family, friends, and colleagues to come together to pay their respects and offer their condolences.

The main burial ceremony is scheduled to take place on the 3rd of January, 2024, in Ugbo, Awgu LGA, Enugu State. Chidi Udekwe extends a warm invitation to all members of the Unity Bar to join him on this significant day, as they collectively bid farewell to his beloved father.

The loss of a loved one is a deeply personal experience, and the support of friends and colleagues can provide immense comfort during such challenging times. Chidi Udekwe, a well-regarded legal professional, has undoubtedly touched the lives of many within the Unity Bar. Now, it is an opportunity for members to come together and reciprocate the support he has shown them over the years.
The funeral ceremony will not only be a time of mourning but also a celebration of a life well-lived. It will serve as a testament to the values instilled by Chidi Udekwe's late father and the impact he had on his community. As members of the Unity Bar and professional colleagues attending the burial ceremony will not only show solidarity with Chidi Udekwe but also pay tribute to the legacy of his father.

In conclusion, the Nigerian legal profession mourns the loss of a remarkable individual, Chidi Udekwe's father. As Chidi Udekwe prepares to lay his father to rest, he expects to see the presence of the members of the Unity Bar and his professional colleagues, to join him in Laying his father's remains to rest during the burial ceremony. By attending, members can offer their support, condolences, and pay their last respects  to the father of one of their prominent member, man who has contributed significantly to the legal profession.

The two decisions of the Federal High Court delivered respectively by Justice Mohammed G. Fruitfulness in season and out of season. Fruitfulness means being completely productive. In from the Christianity perception,  the word Fruitfulness; means living a righteous life and bearing Godly fruits. Bearing fruit alone can be positive or negative ie good or bad fruit depending on the nature of life one lives. Fruitfulness is the direct result of whatever controls our hearts (Matthew 15:19).    In the book of Psalm 1v3   fruitfulness is  described as the end result for living a righteous life.   Psalm 1v1 clearly states the  benefits of living a fruitful life, it says : " They are like trees that grow beside a stream, that bear fruit at the right time, and whose leaves do not dry up. Section 6 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,1999 (as Amended) puts the judicial powers of the federation on the different judicial bodies created by law. Before any Court can function it must derive its power from an existing Law. The Code of Conduct Tribunal, the High Courts of States, the Federal High Court, the National Industrial Court, the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court were all specifically created by the relevant dections of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as Amended). The Magistrate Courts, Customary Courts, the Elections Tribunals, the Investment and Security Tribunal, Census Appeal Tribunal, Tax Appeal Tribunal and even the the Judiciary Panels of Enquiry of the different States of Nigeria are creations of different enabling laws of those States which specifically created them. INTRODUCTION Over the years, contractual agreements now contemplate disputes between parties, hence dispute resolution clauses are couched into such agreement. However in carrying out this term of contractual agreement, arbitration amongst other non-adversarial Alternative Dispute Resolution has taken the lead. Also despite the avalanche of arbitration agreement clauses in agreements, the issue of challenge of jurisdiction of the arbitrator(s) remains a recurring dispute for determination in the Nigerian courts. For instance, if the arbitrators sought to resolve an issue beyond their competence, they could be restrained from doing so by the courts on the plea of any of the parties.
