In less than a month, the Ukehe General Assembly Abuja (UGAA) will welcome a new set of leaders as it prepares for its forthcoming elections. With three sons of Nkporogwu Ewuji Ukehe vying for the chairmanship position, the association is expected to witness a vibrant democratic process. The contenders for the chairmanship position include Emmanuel Titus Aroh, the current Vice Chairman, Andy Igwe, the former Vice Chairman and Secretary, and Ozoji Sylvanus, the current Treasurer of the association. As the highest organ of the Ukehe people residing in Abuja and its environs, the UGAA plays a crucial role in promoting unity, progress, and development within the community. The current leadership, led by Chief Barr Ifesi Nwodo, has served with distinction for quite some time.
