URGENT CALL FOR PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE AT KUBWA ARAB JUNCTION This call was as a result of the tragedy that struck on Wednesday, 31st July, 2024, when an elderly man was knocked down by an oncoming vehicle while attempting to cross the express road at Kubwa Arab Junction. The incident occurred along the Abuja-Kubwa-Dei-Dei expressway, a notorious stretch known for its heavy traffic and lack of pedestrian infrastructure. Eyewitnesses report that the man lay helpless and unconscious on the ground before being rushed to the hospital for medical attention. This harrowing incident highlights the dire need for a pedestrian bridge at this junction, where countless individuals risk their lives daily to enter Arab Road and Kagini on foot.   Two Ukehe ward 1(INEC WARD) jostle for General Secretary  They are Surveyor Nnachebe Ugbor who hails from Amadim village and Mr Agu Ekene (Akuabata) from Uwelle Amokofia village. The association is the highest organ of the people of Ukehe people resident in Abuja and it's environs. Recall that the current leadership of the association led by Chief Barr Ifesi Nwodo were elected on Sunday 4th August 2019,they were reelected for 2nd tenure including the extra year spent during the COVID-19 pandemic.
