The Federal Government of Nigeria under His Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari has denounce the rumor going viral on school resumption ,reacting to the news claiming that the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha has given orders for schools to reopen.

In the rumour, it was made known that Boss Mustapha said all schools in Nigeria are to resume on the 8th of June and commence academic activities immediately, while guidelines on schools' resumption will be given to all academic institutions.

The federal government has this to say in their tweeter handle;

The Federal Government through it Presidential Task Force, as given clarification concerning the news.

It was made known that the news about school resumption circulating over the internet didn't emanate from the Federal Government and should be disregarded as it is not through.

"The material that the chairman of the PTF spoke about, which is an announcement purportedly from him that we are reopening all schools on the 8th did not emanate from us. That is not true."
