HORSES OF OUR TIME ARE INACTIVE AND LACKS CHARACTER.

*WHERE IS THE EAGLE? WHERE ARE THE HORSES OF THIS NATION?*

It is quite ironic that the Great Eagle of our nation's symbol is turning into a weak pigeon, or should I say, a rapacious vulture. The horses ‐ the force of progress of our nation - have become menacing cows this time around.
What a mess of this era! What a shame! Who held the braved nature of this nation captive? Who crippled the economy of the nation and is rendering her fruitless with head buried in humus?

It's time to ask bold questions:
Things have fallen apart today. Who is to blame?
Unaccountable Killings in Nigeria. Who is responsible?
Leaders shifting  their responsibilities and rolling in blame games. What really has gone wrong?
Daily infringements on freedom of speech. Who shut the mouth of the advocates?
Unemployment, poor salary, and untimely, unjust retirement of citizens. Whose fault is it?

Terrible stories of murders and kidnaps. Days have come and gone, I'm still yet to believe it, that a brother in the Lord's vineyard, a brother from the same state and same community/town, my elder brother Fr. Paul Offu, was murdered in cold blood. Who is behind all these?

Where are the armed police and military personnel engaged, equipped and paid to protect & defend our territory and citizens?

Permit me to ask this, where are the leaders?
What measures have been put in place to restore peace & safety in this country?

They say, knowledge is power. Our country is in a mess today because of lack of knowledge and equally due to the selfish desires of our so-called leaders.
Our leaders have failed to safeguard us as they swore on oath.

Where are the elites, the  professors and professionals of our nation Nigeria? Where are the youths of this nation? Are we just blind or dumbfounded?

Should we continue playing politics with the lives of the people of this nation?
Today is still a good time for tomorrow might be too late.
Who knows the next target?
Say no to insecurity! Say no to injustice! Say no to bad governance!

NBA Abuja Branch Vice Chairman Secures Release of Two Inmates After Three Years in Custody

In a significant human rights intervention, the Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Abuja Branch (Unity Bar), and Chairman of the Branch Human Rights Committee, Ikemefuna Onyeka, Esq., has facilitated the release of two Inmates, Bali Joshua and Paul Sunday, who had been in custody since 2023 in connection with an alleged homicide. Upon assuming office on 31st July 2026, Ikemefuna Onyeka, Esq. was briefed on the prolonged detention of the two individuals, whose matter had remained unresolved for more than three years.
