Ukehe General Assembly Abuja Pays Courtesy Visit to Promoted Brigadier General Nnabueze Okoloagu.

The leadership of the Incorporated Trustee of Ukehe General Assembly Abuja (UGAA) recently paid a courtesy visit to their illustrious son, Brigadier General Nnabueze Okoloagu, who was promoted late last year in the Nigerian army. The visit took place at Wu Bassey Barracks, Command Senior Officers Mess in FCT Abuja, where Gen Okoloagu is currently stationed.

Promoting Military Careers in the Community
During the visit, Gen Nnabueze Okoloagu, also known as AGUNAECHEMBA 1 OF ALEKE EZIKE, expressed his disappointment at the lack of interest from members of the community in joining the Nigerian army. He pledged his support to any qualified individual from Ukehe community who wishes to pursue a career in the military, emphasizing that he would not hesitate to recommend them for any opportunities that arise. Gen Okoloagu also extended an invitation to the UGAA for their next meeting on 3rd March 2024.
Appreciation and Gratitude

Gen Ubi, a friend and colleague of Gen Okoloagu, also expressed his gratitude to the UGAA for their visit and congratulatory gesture. He encouraged the community to continue supporting and praying for Gen Okoloagu and himself in their military endeavors.

Recognition and Celebration

The highlight of the visit was the presentation of a congratulatory award to Gen Nnabueze Okoloagu, appointing him as an Ambassador of Ukehe people in Abuja. The visit concluded with a lively entertainment session from the newly promoted Brigadier General, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Ukehe community.

In conclusion, the visit by the UGAA to Brigadier General Nnabueze Okoloagu was a testament to the strong bond and support that exists between the community and its esteemed members serving in the military. NBA ABUJA BRANCH CONDEMNS THE ARREST, HARASSMENT AND DETENTION OF LAWYERS IN THE COURSE OF PROFESSIONAL DUTIES The Nigerian Bar Association, Abuja Branch (Unity Bar), strongly condemns the arrest, handcuffing, harassment and detention of *Mr. Simon Eromosele, Esq.*, a member of the NBA Abuja Branch (Unity Bar), on the 14th of August, 2026, while carrying out his legitimate professional duties as Counsel.
