Unit Bar, NBA Abuja Branch to commence Distribution of End of Year Packages to Young Lawyers and Members with disabilities.

In a show of commitment to the welfare of its members, the chairman of Unit Bar, NBA Abuja Branch, Mazi Afam Okeke,  along with the executive committee, has organized a special End of year package distribution program for young lawyers and members with disabilities. The initiative aims to provide food items, beverages, and other  gift items to these deserving individuals, marking the end of a successful year, 2023.

Event Details:
The distribution of the end-of-year packages will take place at the Abuja Branch Secretariat, located at FCDA Quarters, Kashim Ibrahim Way, Wuse 2, Abuja. The program is scheduled to run from Wednesday, 13th December to Friday, 15th December, 2023, with a daily start time of 10 AM.

Eligibility for this Distribution:
To qualify for the Christmas package, members must have paid their branch dues before 10th February, 2023. The beneficiaries of this program include young lawyers, other lawyers, and persons with disabilities (PWD) within the branch. The first 100 young lawyers (with 1-4 years of experience) will be identified with black numbers, while general branch members and PWD will be indicated with blue numbers. The red marks on the list signify the exemption of executives and welfare committee members from receiving the end-of-year package.
It is important to note that for general lawyers, the first 100 members who paid their dues on or before 10th January will be eligible. Once the cap of 100 is reached, those who paid on the 10th will no longer qualify. Similarly, for young lawyers, the first 100 members who paid their dues on or before 10th February will be eligible, with the same rule applying once the limit is reached.
