Otu Oka-Iwu Abuja General Meeting: A Gathering of Unity and Progress

The Otu Oka-Iwu Abuja community is set to hold its highly anticipated General Meeting on Thursday, 23rd November 2023. This meeting to be organized by the leadership of this group, aims to fostering unity, progress, and development among its members. 
                   Chief Ejiofor Onwuaso.

Otu-Okaiwu Abuja is an association of Igbo lawyers working or practicing in Abuja, Nigeria. The group is ably led by its President, Chief Ejiofor Onwuaso.

The meeting is scheduled to hold at the Novare Central Complex (ShopRite), Zone 5, Wuse, Abuja. The meeting promises to be a significant event for every one attendance .

The Purpose:
The primary purpose of the Otu Oka-Iwu Abuja General Meeting is to bring together the Otu-okaiwu members to discuss important matters concerning their welfare, growth, and overall development. This gathering serves as a platform for members to voice their concerns, share ideas, and collectively find solutions to challenges faced by the community.

The Agenda:

various agenda will be discussed during the meeting to ensure the otu-Okaiwu's progress. These may include:

1. Reviewing Past Achievements: The group will take stock of its accomplishments over the past months, celebrating endowment launch milestones and recognizing individuals who have contributed significantly to this accomplishment/ development.

2. Addressing Current Challenges: The meeting provides an opportunity for  members to openly discuss any   challenges they face. This could range from financial issues, security concerns, or matters affecting the overall well-being of Otu-Okaiwu Abuja.

3. Planning for the Future:
The Meeting will also focus on formulating strategies and plans for the Otu-Okaiwu's future growth. This may involve discussing potential projects, initiatives, or collaborations that can enhance the Otu-Okaiwu's development and well-being as a group.

The presence of Otu-Okaiwu members is crucial to the success of the this Meeting. It is an opportunity for individuals to actively participate in the decision-making process and contribute to shaping the future of the community. By attending, members can express their opinions, raise concerns, and offer valuable insights that can lead to positive growth of the Association .

The Otu Oka-Iwu Abuja General Meeting is a testament to the community's commitment to unity, progress, and development. By coming together at the Novare Central Complex on Thursday, 23rd November 2023, Otu-Okaiwu members will have the chance to voice their opinions, address challenges, and collectively work towards a brighter future. The two decisions of the Federal High Court delivered respectively by Justice Mohammed G. GROUNDS FOR OBJECTING TO THE ADMISSIBILITY OF A DOCUMENT IN PROCEEDINGS IN NIGERIA.  The position of E.C MPI, Esq When a witness is led in evidence in chief to tender a document, such a witness is referred to his deposition on oath and pointed to a place where he pleaded the document the document sought to be tendered. Counsel applies to show the document to the witness and asked if he recognises the document and thereafter an application to tender is made to the court. The court directs the registrar to show the document to the other counsel to either object to the admissibility of the document or allow it to be admitted. The First Major Casualty of Section 83 of the Electoral Act 2026 May Have Emerged

The recent decision of the Federal High Court in Fubara Dagogo v. All Progressives Congress (APC) & 3 Ors., Suit No. FHC/ABJ/CS/591/2026 delivered by Justice Joyce Abdulmalik, represents a significant development in Nigeria’s pre-election jurisprudence. In that case, the court struck out the suit challenging the APC National Congress and proceeded to award punitive costs of ₦10 million each against the plaintiff, Mr. Fubara Dagogo, and his counsel, Chief Sir O.A.U. Onyema, for what the court considered a frivolous and non-justiciable action. Fruitfulness in season and out of season. Fruitfulness means being completely productive. In from the Christianity perception,  the word Fruitfulness; means living a righteous life and bearing Godly fruits. Bearing fruit alone can be positive or negative ie good or bad fruit depending on the nature of life one lives. Fruitfulness is the direct result of whatever controls our hearts (Matthew 15:19).    In the book of Psalm 1v3   fruitfulness is  described as the end result for living a righteous life.   Psalm 1v1 clearly states the  benefits of living a fruitful life, it says : " They are like trees that grow beside a stream, that bear fruit at the right time, and whose leaves do not dry up.
