Former Senator Shehu Sani has once again alleged that the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) is not telling the whole truth about the salaries of federal lawmakers. Sani, who represented Kaduna central, made this statement on Channels Television on Wednesday, citing recent revelations by serving Senator Kawu Ismail of Kano South as corroboration. According to Sani, "lawmakers are serving the public, noting that it's only appropriate for the people whom they're serving to know the actual amount they receive." He maintained that RMAFC is being "economical with the truth" regarding the salaries of senators.
