IT IS NO LONGER A MATTER OF CHOICE TO WEAR A FACEMASK IN NIGERIA, IT IS NOW MANDATORY TO DO SO,AMIDST THE SPREAD OF COVID 19.

The law has finally been gazetted on wearing of face masks as a preventative measure to end the spread of coronavirus in Nigeria.  The order has it clearly stated that Failure to wear a mask while in a Public place is actually a criminal offence. Section 6(1)(b) as read with section 11 of the Regulations. If found guilty you can be liable to a fine of N20,000/= or imprisonment for 6 months or both.  Failure to wear a mask in a public or private transport and public transport operators Section 5(4) must wear mask. So don't say you were not warned. so don't leave your  house or office without a mask. Public place means stepping outside your house. So, take precautions.

Enugu State Governor keeps Virgil to ensure the safety of the people of Enugu state ,following the curfew placed by the Nigeria president .

His Excellency,Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State defies rain to enforce the Presidential directive on 8pm - 6am nationwide curfew in the state. A stand he took for the for the safety and wellbeing of Enugu people. The information reaching us from the Facebook post of his senior special adviser,Barr Henry Okeke. According to him ,the governor was on parade the whole of yesterday's night,12th of May to ensure that no body enters the state or violates the restricted orders of the federal government of Nigeria. In his statement,  the said  SSA  to Governor praised the governor By stating thus; Enugu State is in the hands of God! "Under the rain and in the sun, the Governor of Enugu State is deeply committed to the welfare and safety of the people.  I just love the man GBURUS!! He said.

The Deputy governor of Enugu state has made a positive step towards curtailing the spread of COVID-19 in Enugu state.

Police nabbed a Lady who allegedly stabbed her own mother to death, for sleeping with her husband in Osun State.

the lady who purportedly stabbed her mother to death was identified as Mrs. Ifeoluwa Fehintola,a 28 years old lady has reportedly confessed to stabbing her mother, Ruth Shodeya to death after she caught her mum having sex with her husband on their matrimonial bed. The information we got that the incident happened in Owode Ede, a community in  identified where she lives with her mother. From the report we gathered , the 44-year old woman visited her daughter to spend the two weeks COVID-19 lockdown and in the process had sexual intercourse with her daughter’s husband. It was further learnt that Mrs Shodeya and her son-in-law were reportedly engaged in sex romp when her daughter, who went to the market to buy things, returned and caught them. Filled with rage, the daughter reportedly rushed to the kitchen and took a knife and stabbed her mother who bled profusely and eventually declared dead on arrival at a nearby hospital where she was rushed to for medical intervention. It is quite painful and a total lost to their families and the to the Anambra State as a whole. On Wednesday, October 16, 2019, a petrol laden tanker rammed into buildings in an Onitsha market, spilt its contents in the neigborhood and sparked  fire that ravaged the whole buildings, consumed goods worth millions of Naira and ended lives of so many Nigerias.

3,000 samples in Lagos State not tested as a result of global shortage of reagent. "according to the Lagos State governor".

  Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has blamed the development on global shortage of reagent as a result of lack of molecular testing of over 3,000 samples in Lagos State.  The Governor said that plans has been made to get the reagent soon to test the available samples at hand. A statement  which was shared on the Lagos State Government website as follows; “We have 3,000 samples collected but we have not been able to carry the test because of the global shortage of reagent for molecular testing.  “We are hoping that some of the reagents will be supplied tomorrow and Tuesday. "It would not be out of place to see positive cases in the range of 20 percent out of the 3,000 samples collected. “We are improving the capacity of our isolation facilities in preparation to take care of more patients.”   The Governor in the said address, has also ordered for the release of the vehicles seized from the owners for disobeying the COVID-19 lockdown order back to them.

The Honorable chief Justice of Nigeria, Tanko Muhammed, has directed all heads of courts to maintain the directives issued earier by the NJC Committee on the COVID-19 pandemic ,amidst the easy lock down order of the presidential task force.

The information reaching us has it that, The CJN, justice Tanko Muhammad, has wondered why some heads of court could not wait for the directives of the NJC following the easying of the lock down order by the presidential task force of  Muhammad Buhari on Covid 19.
