IT IS NO LONGER A MATTER OF CHOICE TO WEAR A FACEMASK IN NIGERIA, IT IS NOW MANDATORY TO DO SO,AMIDST THE SPREAD OF COVID 19.

The law has finally been gazetted on wearing of face masks as a preventative measure to end the spread of coronavirus in Nigeria. 
The order has it clearly stated that
Failure to wear a mask while in a Public place is actually a criminal offence.
Section 6(1)(b) as read with section 11 of the Regulations. If found guilty you can be liable to a fine of N20,000/= or imprisonment for 6 months or both. 

Failure to wear a mask in a public or private transport and public transport operators Section 5(4) must wear mask. So don't say you were not warned.
so don't leave your  house or office without a mask. Public place means stepping outside your house. So, take precautions.

Public and private schools in Lagos State to resume on Monday, 18th of January, 2021.

The Lagos State Government has re- affirmed it's Earlier pronouncement on resumption date for opening of schools for both private and public school. The state Government made this known in a pos on their twitter account yesterday the 15th of January, 2021. The according to the information we got from the source, schools will resume on Monday, the 18th of January, 2021 for the second term of 2020/2021 academic session. The media director has this to say; The Lagos State Government has reaffirmed its earlier pronouncement that all public and private schools in Lagos State below tertiary level should resume on Monday, 18th January, 2021 for the second term 2020/2021 academic session. @jidesanwoolu @lasgeducation @hc_education #LASG https://t.co/IGbPQIVvmV. Good news as the two police men who harrased a nursing mother in a video that went viral on social media at Osun state, have been dismissed from the Nigeria police force, following their arrest and investigation that was conducted in that regards. The president of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has come out boldly to criticize the purported amendment on the RPC by the General council of the Bar, which was done to be in comformity with the Legal Practioners Act, as was stated by the chairman of the General Counil of the Bar.
