SIR CHIDI UDEKWE, KSC, CONGRATULATES YAKUBU PHILEMON, SAN, ON INAUGURATION AS NBA ABUJA BRANCH CHAIRMAN

The President of Otu Oka-Iwu Abuja, Sir Chidi Udekwe, KSC, has warmly congratulated Yakubu Philemon, SAN, on his successful inauguration as Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association, Abuja Branch (Unity Bar), alongside the newly inaugurated Executive Committee for the 2026–2028 tenure.

In a congratulatory message, Sir Chidi Udekwe, KSC, described the inauguration as a significant milestone and expressed confidence in the capacity of Yakubu Philemon, SAN, to provide purposeful, inclusive and progressive leadership to the Branch.

He particularly commended the Chairman's vision of “United Beyond Barriers,” noting that the call for unity, collaboration and collective responsibility is essential to building a stronger and more vibrant Unity Bar.

The President of Otu Oka-Iwu Abuja also acknowledged and commended the newly elected Vice Chairman, Ikemefuna Onyeka; Publicity Secretary, Michael Obinna Ochili, Esq.; and Welfare Secretary, Adonai Yvonne, for their successful emergence and assumption of leadership responsibilities.

Sir Chidi noted that the new Executive Committee has a significant responsibility to build on the achievements of previous administrations while strengthening the unity, welfare, professional development and institutional standing of the Branch.

He wished Chairman Yakubu Philemon, SAN, and his team a successful and impactful tenure, assuring them of the goodwill and support of Otu Oka-Iwu Abuja as they work towards advancing the interests of the legal profession.
