Honouring A Distinguished Legal Practitioner, Public Servant, and Ambassador of Justice
The Nigerian Bar Association, Abuja Branch (Unity Bar), heartily celebrates Ms. Roseline Tasha on the occasion of her birthday.
Ms. Tasha stands tall among the finest of our profession. She is a patriotic FIDAn, a remarkable mentor, an exemplary leader, and a distinguished public servant whose life and work continue to inspire lawyers across the Bar.
A Trail of Service and Leadership
Ms. Tasha currently serves as the *Lead Zonal Coordinator, FIDA Nigeria, North Central Zone*. In this national leadership role, she coordinates the activities of FIDA across several states, providing guidance, building capacity, and advancing FIDA’s mission of promoting the rights of women, children, and vulnerable persons.
Her commitment to service did not start today. She began her journey with *FIDA Nigeria, Abuja Branch* as a committed officer, and over the years has remained a dependable, patriotic, and consistent member. She has carried the FIDA spirit and the ethos of the Unity Bar into every assignment entrusted to her, making her one of the Branch’s proudest ambassadors.
Excellence in Public Service
In public office, Ms. Tasha serves as the Director, Citizens’ Rights, Federal Ministry of Justice. Through this office, she has been at the forefront of ensuring access to justice for all Nigerians, irrespective of status. Her work reflects the very principles that both FIDA and the NBA hold dear: justice, equality, dignity, protection of rights, and empowerment of the marginalized.
Under her leadership, the Citizens’ Rights Department has continued to give practical expression to the belief that the law must serve humanity. Countless Nigerians have benefited from her office’s interventions, advocacy, and commitment to upholding constitutional rights.
Service to the Unity Bar
Ms. Tasha’s love for the Bar was most recently demonstrated in her role as Alternate Chairman of the Inauguration Planning Committee of NBA Abuja Branch. The Committee successfully delivered the inauguration ceremony of the new executives of the Branch on *7th August, 2026* — a testament to her organizational capacity, attention to detail, and dedication to the unity and progress of our Branch.
