NBA Abuja Branch Announces Distribution of 2026 AGC Tags at Yakubu Gowon Stadium, Port Harcourt

The Nigerian Bar Association, Abuja Branch (Unity Bar), has announced arrangements for the distribution of 2026 NBA Annual General Conference (AGC) tags to members of the Branch who are yet to receive theirs.

The distribution exercise is scheduled to take place today, Sunday, 23rd August 2026, between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium, Port Harcourt, venue of the 2026 NBA Annual General Conference.

For ease of identification and to ensure that members can locate the distribution point without difficulty, the NBA Abuja Branch team is stationed at the VIP Area of the Stadium, Entrance Door 5, First Room on the Left.

Members of the Unity Bar who have not received their conference tags are therefore encouraged to proceed to the designated location within the stated time. Members are also advised to cooperate with officials coordinating the exercise to ensure an orderly and seamless distribution process.

The arrangement is part of the Branch's efforts to support its members participating in the Annual General Conference and ensure that outstanding issues relating to the collection of conference tags are addressed promptly.

The Executive Committee of the NBA Abuja Branch remains committed to the welfare and convenience of its members throughout the conference and encourages all affected members to take advantage of the distribution window.

NBA ABUJA BRANCH CONDEMNS THE ILLEGAL ARREST AND DETENTION OF SIMON AROMOSELE, ESQ. IN THE COURSE OF THE DISCHARGE OF HIS LAWFUL PROFESSIONAL DUTIES The Nigerian Bar Association, Abuja Branch (Unity Bar), strongly condemns the illegal arrest and detention of one of its members, Mr. Simon Aromosele, Esq., today by officers of the Inspector General of Police Monitoring Unit, Force Headquarters, Abuja, in connection with the discharge of his lawful professional duties. Mr. Aromosele was arrested for writing to OPay Bank on behalf of his client, requesting the lifting of a restriction on his client's account or the production of the court order authorising the restriction.
