The International Conference Centre in Abuja, Nigeria, was a scene of celebration and congratulations as Chief Emeka Obegolu SAN was inaugurated as the 12th President of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Among the well-wishers was the Chairman of Otu-Okaiwu Abuja and the executive body, who extended their heartfelt congratulations to Chief Emeka Obegolu SAN on his new leadership role.

The event, held on the 8th of February, 2024, brought together esteemed guests including the obi of Onitsha, the deputy speaker of the House of Representatives, Senator Umeh, the NBA President, philanthropist Obi Cubana, and many other dignitaries and friends. The atmosphere was filled with optimism and excitement for the future of the Chamber under the guidance of Chief Emeka Obegolu as its new President.
In his inaugural address, Chief Emeka Obegolu outlined the Chamber's strategic areas of focus, including infrastructure development, professionalizing the Secretariat, repositioning the brand, legislative and policy advocacy, ease of doing business, and expanding market opportunities. He emphasized the Chamber's commitment to excellence and service, highlighting its role as a pillar of economic growth and trade facilitation.

The President of Otu-Okaiwu Abuja, chief Ejiofor Onwuaso and the executive body expressed their confidence in Chief Emeka Obegolu's leadership, praising his experience and vision for the Chamber. The outgoing President, Mr. Al-Mujtaba Abubakar, also congratulated Chief Emeka Obegolu on his inauguration, expressing his belief in the new leadership team's ability to support the government in advocating for policies and programs beneficial to businesses.

Kogi State Governor, Usman Ododo, has made a groundbreaking decision by approving the appointment of 1,192 additional aides. Driving while drunk  is quite bad and can lead one into crime commission. weekends are known to be a period when people use for outing and so many group meetings equally takes place.  There will be Plainty of free drinks, from friends and relations indeed . but don't allow yourself to drink to stupor and get out of contrtol. Free drinks intoxicates, therefore check your level of consumption to avoid paying as a result of your carelessness or recklessness while driving home drunk. Driving while drunk is against  section 27(1)of BAC laws CAP 148 (Traffic Code Law)   it is worldwide agreement that alcohol involved-drinking is to be curtailed to a lowest minimum.
