Today, we, as a nation, honour and pay tribute to the brave souls who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our beloved Nigeria. 

Today, we stand united in gratitude, remembering the fallen heroes of the Nigerian Armed Forces with respect and admiration.

In the face of danger, they displayed unwavering courage, confronting challenges head-on to preserve the security of our nation and protect the lives of fellow Nigerians. Their resilience, even in the darkest moments, has secured our unity and continuity.

We remember the sacrifices made, the blood spilled, and the dedication shown by these selfless individuals. Today, we honour their memory and vow never to forget the price they paid for our freedom.

To our heroes still standing, we extend our heartfelt prayers for your continued strength, protection, and well-being. Your commitment to the defence of our nation is a source of immense pride for us all. May God, in His infinite mercy, watch over you, guide you, and grant you the resilience to face the challenges that lie ahead.
As we reflect on the sacrifices made by our fallen heroes and express gratitude to those who continue to serve, let us, as a nation, renew our commitment to unity, peace, and progress. Together, let us strive to build ONE NIGERIA that genuinely reflects the values for which our heroes gave their all.

NBA Anaocha Branch Names Hall After Okey Wali, SAN The (NBA), Anaocha Branch (Family Bar), has resolved to name its main meeting hall after the 26th President of the Association, . This decision was reached during the Branch’s monthly general meeting, where members unanimously approved the naming of the hall as “Hon. NBA Abuja Branch Vice Chairman Secures Release of Two Inmates After Three Years in Custody

In a significant human rights intervention, the Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Abuja Branch (Unity Bar), and Chairman of the Branch Human Rights Committee, Ikemefuna Onyeka, Esq., has facilitated the release of two Inmates, Bali Joshua and Paul Sunday, who had been in custody since 2023 in connection with an alleged homicide. Upon assuming office on 31st July 2026, Ikemefuna Onyeka, Esq. was briefed on the prolonged detention of the two individuals, whose matter had remained unresolved for more than three years. Although the Human Rights Committee of the Branch had not yet been formally inaugurated, the Vice Chairman immediately took steps to address the matter, demonstrating an early commitment to the protection of fundamental human rights and access to justice.
