Abia State Signs N567.2 Billion Appropriation Bill to Propel Development

In a significant move towards transforming Abia State, Governor Alex C. Otti has signed into law the 2024 Appropriation Bill of N567.2 billion. This budget is a testament to the collective vision and aspirations of the people, aimed at propelling the state from underdevelopment to development.

The budget allocation reflects a strategic investment plan that prioritizes key sectors such as infrastructure, security, education, health, and agriculture. By focusing on these areas, the government aims to improve the lives and livelihoods of the people of Abia State.

Fiscal responsibility and prudence are at the core of this budget. With 84% of the allocation directed towards capital expenditure and 16% towards recurrent expenditure, the government demonstrates its commitment to utilizing borrowed funds for income-generating projects that will create job opportunities for the citizens.

The two decisions of the Federal High Court delivered respectively by Justice Mohammed G. In from the Christianity perception,  the word Fruitfulness; means living a righteous life and bearing Godly fruits. Bearing fruit alone can be positive or negative ie good or bad fruit depending on the nature of life one lives. Section 6 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,1999 (as Amended) puts the judicial powers of the federation on the different judicial bodies created by law. Before any Court can function it must derive its power from an existing Law. The Code of Conduct Tribunal, the High Courts of States, the Federal High Court, the National Industrial Court, the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court were all specifically created by the relevant dections of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as Amended).
