You’re very disrespectful - Yul Edochie tells Rufai Oseni over clash with APC chieftain

Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has reacted to Nigerian journalist, Rufai Oseni’s recent outing with  All Progressive Congress (APC) chieftain, Jesutega Onokpasa.

Yul Edochie is a Nigerian actor, movie director, and politician. He is the son of veteran actor Pete Edochie and has appeared in numerous Nollywood films.

Rufai Oseni, on the other hand, is not a well-known public figure. There is limited information available about someone by that name, so it's possible that he may not be a notable personality or public figure.

Recall that Rufai had a heated clash on live TV with Onokpasa during an interview.

 It all started when Rufai posed a question to Onokpasa which did not sit well with him.

In response to the dispute, Yul Edochie said on his Instagram page on Tuesday that Rufai had treated his guest disrespectfully.

He went on to say that Rufai was no better than any other Nigerian and urged him to pursue a career in journalism.

He said: “My friend shut up and sit down! I’m talking to you! You have no right, you don’t have any moral justification to talk where people with integrity are talking! You’re talking nonsense on national TV, you’re a very disrespectful person, you have no respect for the laws of this country! In fact if someone like you becomes president, you will wipe out Nigerians.

"Are you not the same person that was caught driving on BRT lane? You could not even apologise, if not because somebody had a video, that was when you came on national TV to apologise. This is what you do, imagine the other ones that we’ve not seen before. Who taught you journalism? The first thing they should have taught you is to respect your guests.

 “You’re not better than anybody out there. You’re a very disrespectful person and you should go and learn journalism, you are insulting people on national TV."

In reactions to the above, post Ernest Igugu replied the post via vanguardnews, stated thus;

"When people of integrity are talking about important things like economic growth and national development, we don't expect @YulEdochie to talk.
We're not talking of polygamy or chasing clout."

The Negative effects of screening Ministerial nominees by the Nigeria Senate without stating their portfolios?

Senate Transmits Names Of 45 Confirmed Ministerial Nominees To Presidency. Some of the nominees includes:  from the North-West are Badaru Abubakar from Jigawa State, Mariya Mahmoud (Kano), Abdullahi Tijjani Gwarzo (Kano), Ahmed Dangiwa (Katsina), Hannatu Musawa (Katsina), Dr. Yusuf Tanko Sununu (Kebbi), Atiku Bagudu (Kebbi), Bello Muhammad Goronyo (Sokoto) and Bello Matawalle from Zamfara State. There are several several negative effects of screening ministerial nominees by the Nigeria Senate without stating their portfolios: 1. Lack of specific scrutiny: When ministerial nominees are not assigned specific portfolios during the screening process, it becomes difficult for the Senate to thoroughly assess their suitability for the specific roles they will be assigned. This can result in a lack of focused questioning and evaluation, potentially leading to the appointment of ministers who may not be the best fit for their assigned portfolios. 2. Inefficient allocation of responsibilities: W...
