Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, recently conducted an inspection tour to assess the status of the ongoing palliative work on the Enugu-Umuahia-Aba-Port Harcourt expressway. In a Facebook post yesterday, he shared his observations and expressed his satisfaction with the progress made so far.
Governor Otti highlighted the importance of the Port Harcourt-Aba section of the road, emphasizing its role as a crucial transportation and economic corridor between Abia State and Rivers State. The inspection continued through Alaoji and concluded at the entrance of the Ariaria International Market (Enyimba junction).
During the tour, Governor Otti was guided by a team of engineers from CCECC, one of the primary contractors for the road project. He expressed his satisfaction with the speed and quality of the work observed, commending the efforts of the contractors. The governor also acknowledged the timely approval by President Bola Tinubu, who played a vital role in facilitating the return of the contractors to the site.
