NBA ABUJA experience A large turn up of members during her October monthly general meeting held on Friday, 6th of October, 2023. At NBA AUDITORIUM, Central Area, Abuja.

The meeting  was graced by prominent elders of the Bar and notable senior advocates of Nigeria. Such prof. Paul idoniji SAN, MUyiwa Afoyebi SAN, Bola Olu, Ebute SAN

Many past chairmen and secretaries of the Branch were in attendance.
The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Abuja branch had a massive turnout for their monthly general meeting held on Friday, 6th of October, 2023, at the NBA Auditorium, Central Area, Abuja. The meeting was attended by prominent elders of the Bar and notable senior advocates of Nigeria, such as Professor Paul Idoniji SAN, Muyiwa Afoyebi SAN, and Bola Olu, amongst many others. Past chairmen and secretaries of the Branch were also present.

In attendance were young lawyers and the Unity Bar football team. The team had recently won the President Cup during the NBA conference held in Abuja in August 2023, and they were led by Otiga, the captain of the team. 

The speaking engagement for the day was given by Professor Paul Idoniji SAN, who reviewed various topics concerning the legal profession in Nigeria. The gathering was a remarkable one, with attendees engaging in discussions and networking with prominent lawyers. 

Overall, the NBA Abuja monthly meeting was a successful event, which brought together lawyers to discuss issues affecting the legal profession in Nigeria and promoted unity among members of the Bar.

NBA Anaocha Branch Names Hall After Okey Wali, SAN The (NBA), Anaocha Branch (Family Bar), has resolved to name its main meeting hall after the 26th President of the Association, . NBA ABUJA BRANCH CONDEMNS THE ILLEGAL ARREST AND DETENTION OF SIMON AROMOSELE, ESQ. IN THE COURSE OF THE DISCHARGE OF HIS LAWFUL PROFESSIONAL DUTIES The Nigerian Bar Association, Abuja Branch (Unity Bar), strongly condemns the illegal arrest and detention of one of its members, Mr. Simon Aromosele, Esq., today by officers of the Inspector General of Police Monitoring Unit, Force Headquarters, Abuja, in connection with the discharge of his lawful professional duties. Mr. Aromosele was arrested for writing to OPay Bank on behalf of his client, requesting the lifting of a restriction on his client's account or the production of the court order authorising the restriction.
