The former Governor of Oyo State,Abiora Ajimobi Has joined his ancestorial home, after a brief complication relating to COVID 19.
According to the report we got ,the said former Governor of Oyo State died at the age of 70years.
The Oyo State former Governor, Abiola Ajimobi, is said to have died on Thursday at a First Cardiology Consultants in Lagos after a brief illness.
Ajimobi who was appointed as the new Acting National Chairman of All progressive Congres(APC) some days ago by the National Working Committee of the party has been confirmed died of Coronavirus complications. Before his death ,He was a former lawmaker and Oyo State Former Governor who ruled the state for 8years felled ill after testing positive to Coronavirus and was reported to be in a critical condition before the time of his death.
The deceased, who worked as ex-deputy national chairman of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), was said to have slipped into unconsciousness over 10 days ago and that he was transferred to Lagos for improved medical treatment.
He ruled Oyo State for eight years before he was appointed by Adams Oshiomhole as the Deputy National Chairman (South-West) of APC.
