A Pastor Was Been Tortured By The Council Chairman's Men In His State For Criticizing The Wrong Done In The Local Council.

Brutalizing people you should have protected has no legal or moral justification.those still ingage in it are doing it just for no reason ,one day it will be the turn of the so called torturers to receive there own life torture.either from God or from other men of the same spirit.

Just some moments ago  a pastor was been tortured for the sake of criticizing the council chairman.the information we go from the Facebook handle of a human rights activist,Barr obioma nwobodo has this underlying story;
A Pastor and Social Media Activist, Okochi Obeni of God’s Descendants Assembly, Amasiri, Afikpo North Local Government Area, Ebonyi State, was recently tortured, brutalised and forced by his tormentors to drink water from the gutter, for allegedly criticising his council chairman, Ogbonnaya Oko Enyim. The cleric, is currently hospitalised and lying critically at Alex Ekwueme Federal University Teaching Hospital, Abakaliki.

"Ordinary Council Chairman oh! What if he becomes a Governor? It's obvious that we've many budding tyrants".

NBA Abuja Branch Vice Chairman Secures Release of Two Inmates After Three Years in Custody

In a significant human rights intervention, the Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Abuja Branch (Unity Bar), and Chairman of the Branch Human Rights Committee, Ikemefuna Onyeka, Esq., has facilitated the release of two Inmates, Bali Joshua and Paul Sunday, who had been in custody since 2023 in connection with an alleged homicide.
